BDFoto is owned by Barney Douglas, a professional commercial photographer with over thirty years experience, specialising in commercial product photography, architecture, fashion, dance and theatrical, model and stage folios, weddings, boudoir and family portraiture. He also undertakes a lot of work with obedience and agility dogs. He has been published on four of the six continents covering many different genres including two recent book covers.

Barney is a member of the Society of International Fashion and Glamour Photographers.

Clients include MD Textiles (Singapore), Body Shape Design (Germany and Saudi Arabia), Dalila's Kaftans (regular photographer - UK), Service Certainty (insurance work - regular photographer - UK), Exposure 2000 (regular photographer - UK), VS (regular photographer - Canada), and many others.

Barney is CRB checked and carries £2,000,000 public liability and professional indemnity insurance.

The studio is also available for hire to other photographers, and Barney offers tuition to amateur and other professional photographers alike on a one-to-one and group basis.
